Hello,
I’m Jason Albutt, owner of Lambridge Landscapes Established Since 1970 – the well-known and long-established gardening company based in Bath, North East Somerset, which I have, quite literally, grown up with!
I come from a green-fingered family. My grandad, Hubert Albutt, settled in Bath in 1968. Some of you may still remember the plant nursery and grocery shop business he ran opposite Alice Park, at the bottom of the A46, along with my dad Michael and my uncle Dennis.
After some years the family decided to turn the business into a fully-fledged garden centre, which proved highly successful and popular. My father Michael branched out into garden landscaping in 1986, and found a great demand for a landscaping service in Bath, so I joined the landscaping team a few years later.
Landscaping jobs kept flowing in so in 1997 we sold off the garden centre to concentrate our efforts solely on beautifying the gardens of Bath and the surrounding towns and villages.
I believe the secret of our success is that we have put together an extremely skilled team who combine gardening knowledge and experience with a variety of trades. There’s nothing we can’t do on the landscaping front, from erecting fencing and decking and laying patios and paths, to building walls and water features.
